What began as a quick consult for some DIY SEO updates turned into a full brand refresh and new Squarespace 7.1 website for Green Couch Design. The original brand had a solid foundation, so we kept the overall structure but refined the details. We updated the primary font to a more modern, slightly edgier sans-serif, and softened the green hue to feel more organic and earthy. From there, we built out a complete brand suite—including alternate logo versions, a custom icon set, and a refined brand mark. For the website, the goal was a clean, streamlined layout that allowed their interior design work to shine. The final design includes full-width image blocks and minimal text, especially above the fold—making it the first site I’ve designed where the hero section is driven entirely by photography. The result is a site that feels calm, confident, and quietly bold—just like their work.
